I truly love the cottage and as I was just saying to Marianne, I really really really loved working with all of you guys.

My last site visit this week was even more fun than the day I met you (and I love telling that meeting you story). I also cant believe the year has passed so quickly and so smoothly. Adam is amazing at brainstorming ideas, incredibly resourceful, totally connected to trades and product and very attentive to detail. Brett – so smart, patient and detailed in the execution of all the crazy particular plans and brought Adam’s ideas and fast talking to life. Both you and Marianne were so responsive to emails, incredibly organized and very easy to talk to or discuss issues. The good karma brought to the job site makes me love this cottage even more than the fancy design. We were all afraid of building a new place because we would loose the magic of our old one but love is built right into the walls and gives this place its own magical start. I swear – I am crazy for that kind of thing and it will stay with the building long after some new design or nicer cottage is built. Thank you, from all of us and from the bottom of my heart.

McDonald Custom Builders built our boathouse on Lake Joseph in Muskoka. They managed everything from demolition of the old one and construction of the new one to finishing the inside details. When working with the right trades people, the project finished relatively on time and budget. They were diligent with the invoicing process and sent us a folder every month with detailed billing, expenses, etc. What really impressed us was how quickly they addressed and finished the outstanding items on our final inspection list.
